Improvement of production capacity in Valmax Ltd.

Valmax Ltd. develops boutique production of complex tools and tool holders in small series, needed by large machine-building companies with the aim production of a specific machine detail. The niche market is extremely stable and profitable, because the global-market leaders in the field of machine tools wouldn’t accept orders for single, small series of unique tools. The company produces the following main product groups: - Tool holders for processing machines, in particular machines for the production of bearings; - Other unique parts and accessories for processing machines – combined tools for processing machines, which combine the functional characteristics of several standard tools; The company produces parts for special-purpose machinery as further activity, in which production won't be invested through the following project. The main competitive advantages are prices times lower compared to the ones of the world’s manufacturers, with a quality identical to theirs and in shorter time limits than theirs. With these benefits, the volume of orders increases continuously, and the enterprise faces a major limitation: fully occupied production capacity. In support of the main economic activity under NACE 28.49 “Manufacture of other processing machines”, in particular parts for them, under the project will be implemented activity on improvement for the production capacity by investing in: - Multifunctional horizontal lathe center – 1pc., combining the operations cutting, milling, turning, grinding, gear grinding of heading, simultaneous 5-axis processing, achieving micron precise accuracy; The investment will increase the production capacity by implementing the latest generation of high-performance technology in the finishing operations, which will allow expansion of the Bulgarian and European market positions through the ability of completing more and more complicated orders in even shorter terms with guaranteed top quality.
