Improvement of the production capacity of "Novotika 95" AD

The project proposal is targeted at improving the production capacity of the existing enterprise of Novotika 95 AD for the production of banknote counting machines, banknote testers and toner cartridges. This will be achieved by increasing the production of metal parts (covers, axles, gears, plates, holders, chokes) incorporated in the manufactured products by purchasing a high-tech Five-axes Machining Centers-2pcs. To manufacture the metal details for the three product groups described, the company currently uses universal lathes and milling machines, gear cutting machines and metal cutting machines. Therefore, the capacity to produce banknote counting machines, banknote testers and toner cartridge is limited to the capabilities of the currently used metalworking machines. To overcome the bottlenecks in the manufacturing process, the company will purchase and implement a state-of-the-art high-tech CNC centres that deliver a variety of machining (milling, turning, cutting, gearing) at a much higher speed, precision and accuracy, with increased capacity, shortened processing time and no currupted details. This will increase the production capacity for metal parts production (the main components of the manufactured products) and hence the capacity of the existing enterprise of Novotika 95 AD for the production of banknote counting machines, banknote testers and toner cartridges. According to the technological documentation of the purchased machines and the calculations made, after the realization of the project, the capacity for production of banknote counting machines will increase with 107%, for banknote testers with 55% and for toner cartridges with over 70%. Project activities to improve the production process and to improve the production capacity under this project fall under thematic area 2 "Mechatronics and Clean Technologies" of ISIS.
