Improving the competitiveness of PLAM ENGINEERING LTD and increasing the export potential through the ntroduction of new high-tech technologies in the production process

PLAM ENGINEERING LTD is the pre-registered ET "Plam-91" in 2005 and its activity is related to Design and production of machines for the confectionery and food industry, packing equipment and non-standard equipment. Production is not standard but custom-made. Each type of machine / line is manufactured and assembled according to the customer's needs, the components, gauges and equipment parameters are subject to change and are prepared according to the specific order. Steps of the production process: -Design and development of structural and technological documentation -Delivery of raw materials and details -Development of metal parts -Installation of finished parts and elements, incl. wiring -Testing the finished product -Assembling, mounting, testing and commissioning of the production line / machine at the client's place. The subject of this project is an initial investment in 4 pieces FTA: -Automatic laser portal machine for cutting metal sheets -Hydraulic guillotine -CNC hydraulic abc-press -CNC lathe with sloping guides Assets represent a completely new solution that meets the need to improve the production process and increase productivity. Their introduction into production is designed to solve the production problems in the "Production of metal parts" stage. At present, most of the operations are carried out with outdated, inefficient, low-productivity machines and hand tools, with excessive manual labor, resulting in low production capacity, high costs and unsustainability. The overall objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of PLAM ENGINEERING LTD, to increase its production capacity and to increase its export potential. The expected economic performance of the project proposal is sales growth, productivity growth, and growth in export earnings, which will be measured with the Indicators set for the project.
