Improving the production capacity of Dema Press Ltd.

This project proposal was initiated by a micro enterprise - Dema Press Ltd., which is active in the field of printing of advertising articles. Part of the applicant's manufacturing activity is through obsolete printing methods, which prove to be low-cost, unprofitable and low in productivity, insufficient to meet new market trends and demand volumes. Issues such as: reduced production capacities, hard-to-reach final product quality, high cost, technology marriage, etc. that affect the competitor's competitiveness are identified. In order to overcome the corks in its manufacturing process, Dema Press Ltd. plans to purchase high-tech equipment to improve all major and additional operations in the production of printed advertising materials and products: Flatbed UV printer and UV printer with a built-in chopper. With the implementation of the project, the printing company's capacity will be expanded on a wide variety of media, saving basic resources and improving the quality of finished products. This will provide a higher added value for an enterprise that expects a growth in net sales revenue, an increase in export earnings, and an increase in productivity. When implementing the project, horizontal policies for equality and non-discrimination will be respected and environmental sustainability will be achieved. In essence, the project proposal falls within the thematic area of Mechatronics and Clean Technologies of Innovative Strategy for Smart Specialization, because it includes investments in automated and software-assisted management systems with application in production.
