Improving the production capacity in "KELKO" Ltd.

Small and medium-sized enterprises play a major role in the development of the Bulgarian economy. They are a key source of job creation, added value and new business ideas. In this respect, the efforts of our country to create a competitive and sustainable economy are directly dependent on supporting the development of SMEs because they are most sensitive to changes in the business environment. In this respect, it is necessary to implement a targeted policy, which will lead to increased productivity and expansion of the market presence on the foreign markets of Bulgarian SME's. In support of the above, the present project envisages an investment in assets, which will lead to improvement of the production capacity of the applicant - "Kelko" EOOD. As a result, the company's products realization will be expanded into national and international markets, leading to a sustainable increase of its competitiveness. In order to achieve this goal, the applicant will purchase modern equipment that occupies a central place in its activity, which optimizing the production process in the company. The applicant will realize its investment in city of Blagoevgrad (Southwestern planning region), as the applicable support scheme for this project will be "de minimis". Successful implementation of the project requires realistic planning of the entire process, balanced distribution of activities over time and tied it to the set goals guaranteeing the expected results. Regarding to that, the project foreseen an activity for the improvement of the production capacity of the applicant including the following sub-activities: management, conducting a procedure for the selection of contractor under LMFESIF and PMS 160/2016, delivery of the equipment and realization of visualization measures. Main results of the project implementation will be to improve the production capacity of the applicant, increase its competitiveness and export potential.
