Increasing the production capacity of "Mineralcommerce" JSC

This project proposal is aimed at increasing the production capacity of an existing business for the production of amosil (amorphous silica), located in the town of Stara Zagora, owned by Mineralcommerce Jsc. The planned increasement of the production capacity will be achieved by purchasing and putting into operation of Filter press-1 pc. With the implementation of the current project, the company will improve the technological production process of amosil, which will be achieved as the newly purchased Filter press will replace the currently available drum vacuum filter, thus eliminating the production problems associated with clogging the filter pore sails of the available drum vacuum filter. By putting the filter into operation, the press will increase the speed of the filtration process, b.c. it will not be necessary to stop the process of producing amosil in order to clean the drum vacuum filter. The increasing of the filtration speed will save time in the production of the final product, shortening the technological time, and hence increasing the production capacity of the company. With the putting into operation of the filter press, Mineralcommers Jsc expects to increase its production capacity from 485 tons /per year to over 820 tons / per year.
