Balkanpod EOOD is a fast growing modern enterprise specializing in the production of knitted garments, which strives to offer high quality knitwear to meet new trends and high customer requirements. The company has two production facilities - the main one in the town of Petrich and a second workshop in the town of Pleven where the current project will be implemented. The enterprise aims to increase its competitiveness by expanding its production capacity and export potential by investing in modern knitting equipment. In order to improve and expand its presence both on national and European markets, the company plans to procure universal dual-system computerized knitting machines to optimize its production process at the basic stage of knitting as well as to improve the quality of its end products, introducing advanced and automated technologies. Through the project Balkanprod Ltd. will achieve the necessary technical equipment for knitting products with very big and big stitches, which will contribute to the successful development and consolidation of the modern knitwear market, reaching new export markets, responding to the latest trends in the field. The successful implementation of the project will result in higher productivity, greater production volume, shorter delivery times, reduced scrap production and better knitting quality, making more sophisticated patterns and knitting products with higher added value. In addition, the results of the investment up to 2 years after its realization will be: - Increased productivity with over 15%; - Net sales revenue growth of about 74%; - Increased export revenue by 39%.
