Increasing the competitiveness and the export potential of KRISTINA-CAPS SLTD., Gabrovo through investments for improvement of the production capacity of the company

The present project aims to increase the competitiveness and the export potential of KRISTINA - CAPS EOOD, Gabrovo through investments to improve the production capacity of the company through the introduction of a new high technology production equipment - 1 pc. injection molding machine, 600 kN for cap production. Despite its sustained presence on both domestic and international markets, KRISTINA - CAPS SLTD has faced serious challenges in recent years, mainly due to the insufficient production capacity of the company whose product nomenclature includes 90% caps and 10% bottles. The implementation of the project aims to increase the production capacity for the main product (caps), which has a proven potential for realization, both on domestic and international markets. The limited production capacity of the company is due to: - use of old technological equipment with low productivity; - high production costs due to frequent repairs of machines and their high energy consumption; - high % of technological scrap; - unsatisfactory product quality due to the lack of automatic control in the machines themselves (quality control is done manually by the workers) The expected results from the implementation of the project are: - Increased productivity by almost 29%; - increased net sales revenue by over 20%; - increased volume of export of caps by 50% and increased average export earnings by over 41%; - optimized production process with reduced unit production costs by 10% per 1 cap; - Increased resource efficiency due to the use of new, high-tech equipment with non-waste technology; - Improved product quality because of the existance of automated machine control and integrated constant monitoring of parameters; - increased production capacity for production of caps by over 25%; - Increased competitiveness and export potential of the company.
