Production capacity improvement in Milco Ltd.

"Milko" Ltd. operates in the field of machines production. The main groups of products manufactured in the company are metalworking machines - lasers, CNC lathes, hydraulic presses, as well as parts and accessories for them. The main stages of the technological production process in the company are preparation of billets, details, assemblies and parts, painting, assembly and expedition. The project is aimed at expanding the production activity by adding new technological capacities to the existing ones in Milko EOOD. In order to withstand the competitive pressure and to strengthen its position, the company should optimize and increase the capacity and efficiency of the work at the different stages of the production of machine tools. Available equipment, although modern, can not be used at its full capacity, due to difficulties in the post-welding of the parts, which is a bottleneck in the production cycle, leading to lower performance and volume of execution. The project envisages the purchase of a vertical CNC grinding machine, which is designed for grinding of external and internal cylindrical surfaces, as well as face surfaces in different parts. Up to now, sanding is done by hand, which is very inefficient and poorly related to extra costs and waste of time. As a result of the project, the company will increase its productivity (increase production volume twice over 2 years after the project is over), optimize the production process, shorten the processing time of the machine parts and reduce the cost of finished products. With the implementation of the project, the company aims to strengthen and expand its position on the domestic and foreign markets, offering quality products at competitive prices.
