Akumplast JSC part of the Circular Economy

Akumplast JSC increases annually its share of the production for export in the period 2015 - 2017. The main products that the Company exports are plastic reusable packaging and plastic rechargeable cartridges, covers and accessories for lead acid batteries. Improving the quality and economy of plastics recycling is a major goal of the European Plastics Strategy in the Circular Economy. The strategy announces a number of actions to achieve this goal - from improving product design to increasing recycled content in products to improve separate collection of plastic waste. The main objective of the Company is to create prerequisites for its "Circular Economy" production, to observe and contribute to the implementation of the European Strategy, requiring both an increase in production capacity and an increase in the volume of recycled polymers it uses and will continue to use it in the production of its end products. To meet these objectives, the Company plans to make the following investments through this project: - Purchase of a Extruder with a closing effort of more than 790 t and an injection volume of more than 4 500 cm3, amounting to BGN 750 thousand; - Purchase of a twin-screw recycling line for the recycling of polymers with a production capacity of more than 450 kg / hour, amounting to BGN 300 thousand.
