Increasing the capacity of production of dry type transformers

The project aims at expanding the production capacity of one of the major production departments of the dry type transformer manifacturer TMC-Trafo and, accordingly, at increasing the sales revenue of these products for the domestic and foreign markets. It is planned to perform one activity - the acquisition of a new hi-tech machine for winding aluminum and copper foil wires. The machine is designed for the High Voltage Coil Department where winding of the high voltage windings for dry type transformers is performed. The total cost of the project, incl. the financial support, is 340 000 EUR or 664 982 BGN. The project implementation period is 10 months. The expected results are - a new winding machine acquired - 1 pc., increased capacity of the High Voltage Coil Department and of the plant as a whole. After launching the machine, the production capacity of the department will increase from 1 set of coils for 8 hours to approximately 2.5 sets of coils for the same period, meaning that the total capacity for producing dry type transformers as a final product, under unchanged other conditions, will increase from 2 dry type transformers per day to 4.5 per day. This represents a 125% increase in the production capacity of the plant, compared to year 2018. On this basis was elaborated the business plan of the enterprise, covering the project's post-implementation period.
