Improving the production capacity of LEMI TRAFO SA

The project aims at expanding the production capacity of one of the major production departments of Lemi Trafo and as a result to increase the plant's production capacity of the hole plant and increase the sales of oil type distribution transformers. It is planned to perform one activity - acquiring a new winding machine for copper and aluminum conductors for the Coils Department. The total cost of the project, incl. the financial support, is BGN 616 086.45. The implementation period is 10 months. The expected results are: a new coil winding machine - 1 pcs.; and increased production capacity of the department for coils. After the introduction of the winding machine, the production capacity of the department will increase to 19-20 transformers per day (24 hours), which means that the total capacity for the production of oil type distribution transformers as final product with no changed  conditions, will reach 20 transformers per day (24 hours) or in other words a 15-18% increase of the capacity will be achieved in comparison with the capacity that was achieved in 2018. This is also the underlying hypothesis of the enterprise's business plan for the post-project period.
