Increase of production capacity of BALKAN INTERNET EXCHANGE Ltd.

BALKAN INTERNET EXCISE is an independent internet promotion that promotes open peering policy. The company has built-in infrastructure for transferring and exchanging local Internet traffic in Bulgaria and the rest of the Balkan countries his enables each client connected to a 1GE or 10GE port to exchange traffic with each other by mutual agreement and understanding. The exchange of information takes place via BGP sessions between countries, through direct sessions or via Route servers. Each participant may have its own peering policy. The company is designed for telecom operators, ISPs, content providers, and content delivery networks. In order to carry out its activity, the company uses working premises in Sofia and Montana, which are equipped with the assets necessary for providing the services. In order to maintain its competitiveness, under the conditions of high competition on the IT services market and the ever-increasing requirements for quality, environmental and information security, the management of BALKAN INTERNET EXCHANGE LTD takes into account the opinions of the clients and the stakeholders. Given the latter, the plans planned to be implemented under this project project are related to improving the company's capacity by purchasing new high-tech equipment and a security information system. n this regard, the present project is the necessary step for achieving the company's goals related to the expansion of the company's activity, improvement of the quality of the offered services and reduction of the costs. Investments in new equipment and a system of information security at the premises located in Montana will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company as well as its revenue from sales as a condition for the sustainable development of the company.
