Increasing the competitiveness of Microinvest Ltd. by purchasing servers

Microinvest LTD. is a software company specialized in the development of POS software. With the progressive development of new technologies and the advent of mobile phones and tablets, a growing emphasis is placed on Internet-based cloud solutions. They allow remote management of retail stores and facilities. This is done through cloud solutions on dedicated servers and connecting all workstations to these servers. Therefore, the investment proposal is aimed at building a cluster of servers, respectively, by purchasing them. The project proposal of "Microinvest" LTD. intends to purchase 10 servers, 3 cabinets for storage of servers and 3 UPS each with 2 battery packages to ensure smooth operation of the equipment. Servers are to be as follows: • 6 servers for maintaining the web-based products of the company, the main site and the ability to manage electronic licenses; • 1 Server – for software development environment and publishing new versions of products; • 1 workload balancing server to handle peak queries; • 1 server in a cluster to store the databases of clients, connected to a common network for redistribution of the entire system load; • 1 server for support activities such as remote access via remote assistance tools, as well as for downloading stationary and cloud versions of the products. The three UPS are distributed in 2 locations, each one having 2 battery packages, and will operate in parallel to ensure high load reliability. The intended for purchase equipment will include necessary high quality devices for the construction of such a cluster and the creation of cloud solutions to be used by both Bulgarian and global clients of the company. When purchasing the equipment described in the project proposal of Microinvest LTD., there will be a serious increase in the opportunities for the company's activity.
