Improving the production capacity of RAIS Ltd in order to improve competitiveness and increase the export potential

The implementation of the project is aimed at meeting the basic needs of RAIS Ltd. in terms of improving the competitiveness of the company. The project creates opportunities for increasing production capacity, improving export potential and increasing resource efficiency. The company faces the typical problems for the development of SMEs in Bulgaria - high production costs, obsolete technologies, insufficient capacity and low quality of production. In this connection, the main objective of the project is to increase the production capacity and to increase the export potential of RAIS Ltd. by optimizing and increasing the production processes as well as reducing production costs by purchasing new high-tech and highly efficient equipment. The activities foreseen to be implemented in the project include improving production processes, adding new features and improving existing products and services, diversifying the range of products and services, and introducing new technologies to increase resource efficiency. In particular, the implementation of the project includes the delivery and deployment of the following machines and equipment: 1. Measuring tool for tool adjustments - 1 item; 2. Horizontal dual pallet treatment center - 1 piece; 3. Vertical lathe with milling operations - 1 piece; 4. Software product for optimization of production and technological processes of RAIS Ltd. - 1 issue. The introduction of new high-efficiency and effective equipment and software provides opportunities for increasing the volume and quality of production, optimizing the production process and reducing production costs, which in turn provides an overall improvement in the number and quality of the products offered on the national and international markets as well as improving the competitiveness of the company.
