Increasing the production capacity and enhancing the export potential in „Studio Lemon” Ltd.

„Studio Lemon" Ltd. was established in 2006 in the city of Plovdiv and specializes in printing of leaflets for advertisments, posters; printing onto textiles and ceramics, metal, glass, and others products, but on paper. In the recent years, the company has realized only 2% of its production on the foreign market. Trends in the modern polygraphic and printing industry on a global and national scale show a significant increase in demand for custom-printed products from expensive materials other than paper. Now the company prints directly on materials such as ceramics, metal, textiles, glass but in limited capacity because it cannot afford implementation of numerous and complex orders by itself and often outsources operations. To help increase its competitiveness, Studio Lemon needs to invest in response to the demand and to improve its position on foreign markets. A goal before the firm is increasing its printing capacity on ceramics, metal, textiles, glass in numerous small series, and in a sophisticated design to customize printed products. The company will achieve this through the introduction of high-tech multifunctional printing equipment on ceramics, metal, textiles, glass, as well as equipment allowing for creating a more sophisticated design to customize printed products. As a result of the project, the firm will increase its printing capacity on the above-mentioned materials in numerous small series and a sophisticated personalization design, leading to the refinement of the offered products. Improvements in the production process will allow new partnerships to be realized and the existing ones to be expanded. It is expected that in the three years after the completion of the project compared to 2015 - 2017, the firm to increase its productivity by an average of 17.07%, the change of the average generated export revenues to be 1115.91% and the increase of net income from sales to be 31.41%.
