Improving the competitiveness and increasing the export potential of SIDABO LTD

SIDABO Ltd. was established in 2007 with the scope of activity designing and manufacturing of lifting machines. The production process passes through Construction, Billets, Drilling, Welding, Painting, Assembly and Fitting. The subject of the project proposal is an investment in 5pcs. tangible assets and 2 pcs. non tangible assets: Vertical drilling center - 1 pc. Plasma-nitrated welding table with legs, dimensions 3000x1500x200 mm. and grid 100x100 mm-2 pcs. Plasma-nitrated welding table with legs, dimensions 1500x1500x200 mm. and grid 100x100 mm-2 pcs. Software for engineering design - 1 pc. Software for engineering simulation - 1 pc. Assets represent a completely new solution that meets the need to improve the production process and increase productivity. Their implementation into production will solve manufacturing problems in Construction, Drilling and Welding Stages. We have highly skilled, experienced specialists for Construction stage, but we use free software for engineering design with limited functionalities that can not meet our needs. We also need Software for engineering simulation, and due to the lack of such software, we reassure our material calculations, which increases the cost of production. For the Drilling and Welding stages we do not have the necessary advanced equipment, our performance is greatly reduced and we can not meet the growing demand. A large part of the operations are performed with obsolete, low-productivity machines and tools, with excessive manual labor, resulting in low production capacity, high costs and unsustainable quality. The overall objective of the project is to improve competitiveness, increase production capacity and strengthen the export potential of SIDABO EOOD. The expected economic outcomes are sales growth, growth in productivity and growth in export earnings, which will be measured by the set indicators.
