Improving productivity and increasing the export potential of SGM Plastics Ltd.

SGM PLASTICS Ltd. is an enterprise specialized in production of medium and small sized plastic parts for automated parking systems with access control and operates within one main production area - "Manufacture of plastic products". Currently, with its available capacity the company is reaching its maximum production rate and is operating in full workload mode. The acquisition of new assets is necessary to increase the capacity of the enterprise and its successful presence on national and foreign markets. The following main activities are envisaged within the project: 1. Supporting of general production investments to improve production capacity for growth through efficient and effective use of production factors and by building opportunities to adopt and adapt European and international knowledge and technologies. For the needs of the production of plastic parts, in order to optimize the production processes and after carrying out the procedures for selecting a contractor, in accordance with the requirements of Decree No. 160 of the Council of Ministers, new high-performance equipment will be purchased and put into operation - Columnless thermoplastic machine - 1 pcs. 2. Awareness and publicity activities. During the implementation all requirements related to the project visualization and according to the "General Beneficiary's Handbook for Implementation of the Information and Communication Rules" 2014-2020 will be met. The implementation of the activities will have positive effect on increasing the productivity of the enterprise and on exporting production to new markets. At the same time the company will increase its export revenues, utilize its market potential and increase the sales of products that will advertise the LAG's territory. The efficiency of production costs will be improved which will lead to optimal return of investments made.
