Increasing the productivity and the export potential of 3A Steel LTD

The main objective of the project proposal is: Increasing the competitiveness and export potential of 3A Steel Ltd. The sub-objectives of the project proposal are related to the following results: Appointment of 6 new employees. Increase in the enterprise's productivity by at least 35% ,; Increasing production cost efficiency by about 6%; After the project, sales are expected to grow by 13% for the first year, after which growth will stabilize steadily at around 4% per year. The goal and the sub-objectives will be met through the following activity: Support for generic production investments to improve production capacity for growth through effective and efficient use of production factors and by building up opportunities for adopting and adapting European and international knowledge and technologies. The activity will be accomplished by introducing two robotic welding systems for metal molds for casting of "Lego" concrete blocks. The introduction of new equipment will also ensure: Reduced energy consumption by over 70% due to the availability of automated control systems. As a result of a special regulator, the use of protective gases - argon and carbon dioxide will be reduced by up to 50% , which will reduce atmospheric pollution. The production of 3A Steel Ltd. as well as the project activities fall into "mechatronics and clean technologies", "design and production of high-tech products and / or participation in the over-national production chain". Metal casting molds for "lego" concrete blocks are a tool for the production of the end product in the Netherlands. The precision necessary to make the steel molds requires high technology production, and the concrete blocks themselves allow clean and fast construction without seriously damaging the environment.
