Encouraging the sustainable development of Cinema Pro Tour Ltd. by supporting the development of an innovative service

Cinema Pro Tour OOD is a company registered on 24 July 2019 in the village of Mokren, Kotel Municipality, with major business activity code J59.14 Film Screening. Within this project proposal, the company aims to develop an innovative service – travelling cinema. The specific project objectives include: 1) providing the necessary qualified personnel to carry out the process of rendering the innovative service by recruiting 6 experts who will be responsible for providing the service and to whom sustainable employment will be provided; and 2) providing the material and technical resourced to implement the travelling cinema initiative through investment in non-current tangible assets, including specialised cinema system, portable tent and seating structure. As a result of the project implementation, Cinema Pro Tour OOD will have an opportunity for permanent positioning on the regional market, for creating and maintaining workplaces, and for the subsequent development of the entrepreneurial idea. The project falls within the scope of the “new technologies in the creative and recreative industries” thematic area of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization of the Republic of Bulgaria 2014-2020, and the subsequent development of the service will create prerequisites for the development of cultural tourism, which will have non-seasonal and permanent nature. The project proposal also contributes for achieving the priorities set in the Strategy for Community-Led Local Development, and for achieving one of the Strategy’s main objectives, namely “enhancing the competitiveness of local economies and possibilities for creating local business, including through diversification and alternative activities”.
