Increasing the productivity and export potential of GALCO Jsc

Galko Jsc. is a manufacturing company that produces metal structures to order and customer documentation. In the production base in the town of Radomir, the company has its own galvanizing line, many separate workshops, warehouses, admin. building and open areas, equipped with machinery and equipment, lifting and transport equipment. The company's products are sold not only in Bulgarian but also on the international market. In 2010 an ERP system was implemented, and since 2015 the company has been certified under the Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2015. At present, the company employs over 90 people - qualified specialists. Strategically, the company aims to achieve sustainable growth, achieving and maintaining a high level of competitiveness. Through the implementation of this project the company will fulfill most of the goals and activities in its strategic plan: - Modernization of production processes through the introduction of technologies to improve the production process, achieving higher productivity to meet market needs, reducing production costs and optimization of production processes; - Achieve higher efficiency by increasing added value and improving the quality of the products; - Creation of new jobs. In the course of the project implementation the following machines will be delivered and put into operation: 1. hydraulic press brake - 1 pc. 2. hydraulic guillotine - 1 pc. As a result of the introduction of the new equipment, some of the processes in the production line will be optimized, the quality of the production will be improved, at low levels of production costs, production time will be reduced, efficiency, productivity, added value will be improved - key factors for the increase of the competitiveness of the enterprise.
