Improving the energy efficiency of ‘’Construction group’’ Ltd.

‘’Construction group’’ Ltd. has got a main economic activity code: 4120 - Construction of residential and non-residential buildings. The company owns a machinery park, which is in a good condition. There are machines used for earthworks - excavations, embankments and ramming; machines for manual, hydraulic and mechanical crushing of monolithic concrete, coverings and brickwork; vehicles; welding tools and others. The company carries out its activities on building sites across Bulgaria. It has completed many building projects in Northwestern Bulgaria since 2012. In order to improve the efficiency of future commissions, ‘’Construction group’’ Ltd. has rented a base located in the drill-ground area of the Traffic Police in Bukovlak, Pleven Municipality. The machines will be transported to and used in the aforementioned base when not in use on any other building site across the country. Maintenance and repair of the equipment will be carried out in the base. ‘’Construction group’’ Ltd. is planning to improve its energy efficiency and to decrease its expenses through the purchase of new high-capacity and diverse construction machines, such as: dumper, excavator, vibrating roller, tracked excavator with waste-handling attachment, mini tracked excavator, crusher that can also be used for construction waste recycling, a compressor station with tools as well as a hydraulic station. The company will make use of consulting services for implementation and certification of an energy management system in accordance with the BDS EN ISO 50001 standard as well as Energy audit services for establishment of energy-efficient measures. Through the project the company is planning to expand its range of activities, to decrease the construction cost price and thus, to become more competitive. This is a prerequisite for stable development, which will improve the market position of the company in the construction industry.
