Improving the energy efficiency of ‘’Dobrudja building’’ Ltd.

Dobrudja building Ltd. was founded in 2008 with main activity construction of residential and industrial buildings. The company owns warehouses, heavy equipment, inventory, vehicles, construction machinery and equipment, which enables it to carry out all types of construction activities. The availability of own facilities and the well organised work resources allow it to perform all types of construction works related to contemporary residential and administrative building construction. Dobrudja building Ltd. carries out construction works both independently and as a member of different associations across Bulgaria. Besides Dobrich, the company also owns a base in Yasen, municipality of Pleven, Northwestern Bulgaria, where the new machines will be transported to and used in when not in use on any other building site. The company is planning to improve its energy efficiency and to reduce its energy consumption by purchasing a new diverse range of high-capacity heavy equipment, such as: a crane truck; a vibratory roller; a rotating telehandler; a diesel screed conveyor - Mixokret; a stationary concrete pump; a mini front loader and 2 double cab dumper trucks. Dobrudja building Ltd. will make use of consulting services for implementation and certification of an energy management system in accordance with the BDS EN ISO 50001 standard as well as energy audit services for establishing energy-efficient measures. Through the project the company is planning to expand its range of activities, to decrease the construction cost price and thus, to become more competitive.
