Increasing energy efficiency of Dimik - D3 Ltd. in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness.

The present project proposal aims the improving energy efficiency in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness of Dimik - D3 Ltd, through the following activities: Activity 1 energy audit project report; Activity 2 to purchase rotary die-cutting machine with flexo print and slotter section; Activity 3 to purchase paper-layering machine; Activity 4 to purchase machine for gluing boxes; Activity 5 to purchase an energy monitoring system; Activity 6 services for implementation and certification of ISO 50001. This project proposal is based on recommendations made by energy efficiency audit of industrial system Dimik - D3 Ltd. In this regard, there were formulated Activity 2, Activity 3, Activity 4 and Activity 5, which are in fulfillment of the recommended Measure 1, Measure 2, Measure 3 and Measure 4 in the energy audit report. The activity of Dimik is oriented to production of high quality corrugated packaging at affordable prices, as the company relies on investments that contribute to reducing the impact of business processes on the environment, through increased energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions emitted into the air. The project implementation will lead to the expansion of the product range while achieving resource effectiveness and efficiency of the production process. Through the optimization of operating activities will be possible to use increasing amounts of recycled materials. The functionalities of the new machines will allow recycling of scrapped products and thereby achieve a reduction of dependence on suppliers of primary production inputs. Suupporting the transition to a low carbon economy, the company will carry out greening work after the investment, which is a fundamental prerequisite for achieving sustainable economic growth.
