Increasing energy efficiency in GEOPRODUKT AD

The main activity of GEOPRODUKT AD has been producing quality diamond cutting and drilling tools for mining, geological and construction industry - diamond crowns, shoes and extenders, spacers and liners tolling, graphite molds. The core demand of the company is to improve energy efficiency for sustainable growth and competitiveness. Satisfying this demand is the main objective of the project which will be implemented through the following activities: 1. Acquisition of new manufacturing equipment 2. Consultancy services for implementation and certification of energy management system in accordance with standard BDS EN ISO 50001 The activity of selecting a contractor to prepare an energy audit is completed prior to submission of the project proposal. Activities for the preparation of financial audit will be carried out after the delivery, installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment and received a certificate ISO 50001 and are on the expenses of the candidate. Through the implementation of the above activities, including energy efficiency measures included in the approved SEDA energy report (Statement № BG16RFOP- 206/31.08.2016) will achieve the following results: 1. delivered, installed and commissioned production equipment - CNC two-milling center - 1pc; CNC Lathe - 1pc .; 4 +1 machining center - 1pc; Three-coordinated measuring machine - 1pc 2. certificated in accordance with standard BS EN ISO 50001 3. filled activities for environmental protection 4. annual energy savings - 72 800 kWh/year 5. emission savings CO2 - 59,62 t/year 6. vizualization of the project Through the implementation of project activities and achieve planned results will expand the capacity of existing shed will reduce the cost of unit production, will develop environmentally sound production and improve energy efficiency of the company.
