Improving the energy efficiency in "BUDESHTE" Ltd

To achieve a lasting effect in terms of reducing the energy intensity of the production processes in "BUDESHTE" Ltd, the project proposal envisages five main activities. The investments are specially selected in order to ensure high energy savings and increased production capacity in reduced energy consumption. It is envisaged that the implementation of the new technologies will contribute to reducing the energy intensity of the enterprise, reducing the production`s marriage rate and significantly lower the technological times in the production cycle. Thus ensuring sustainable impact on competitiveness and growth of the enterprise. The following main activities are planned to be implemented:: Activity 1: Acquisition of new highly effective production equipment. The activity covers the deployment of 6 ESM. Activity 3: Implementation of energy management system in accordance with standard EN ISO 50001 Activity 4: Certification of energy management system in accordance with standard EN ISO 50001 Activity 5: Visualisation Activity 6: Development of energy audit. The activity has ended. The implementation of all measures will lead to energy savings of 318030,6 kWh, representing a decrease of 77.5% compared to baseline, leading to reduction of greenhouse emissions by 260.47 tons/year. The planned activities for implementation of ISO 50001 will provide an opportunity to identify the energy consumption patterns, thus energy monitoring plan will be developed. Subsequently the gained analysis of the data will help taking further action to improve the energy management and the efficiency of the industrial system. The actions on the implementation of the standard will lead to significant improvement of the energy capacity of each employee.
