Increaseing the energy effectivness of "Sima - Mihov" Ltd.

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of "Sima-Mihov" Ltd. and achieve sustainable growth by improving energy efficiency and capacity of the enterprise. Via the project will be implemented three energy-saving measures carried out in an energy audit, by introducing in the production of "Sima Mihov" Ltd: - 1 injection moulding machine with at least 800 kN clamping force; - 1 injection moulding machine with at least 1200 kN clamping force and - 1 mill-granulator for all types of plastic. They will be purchased after procurement procedure for contractor selection according to actual requirements, stipulated in national legislation for EU Structural and Investment Funds and Decree of Council of Ministers № 160 / 01.07.2016. The new high-performance and energy-efficient machines will replace physically and morally obsolete equipment and will achieve renewal and improvement of technology for energy-efficient and cost-effective production, improving of resource effectiveness and encourage recycling of discarded products, its secondary use and environmental protection. In the project proposal are also planned activities for introduction and certification of energy management system in accordance to the ISO 50001 requirements, as well as publicity and visualization of the project. As a result of the project implementation is expected improvement of energy and resource efficiency in the enterprise, accomplishment of 78979,12 kWh/yr. energy savings and saving 64,68 t/yr. CO2 emissions. The project will lead to a complex positive effect on overall activity, increasing the competitiveness and sustainable growth of the enterprise.
