Energy efficient solutions for expanding the production capacity of "Caps - Lovech" Ltd.

The company Caps - Lovech Ltd. is a manufacturing enterprise, whose activity started in 1995 and is focused on the production of heat-shrinkable PCV capsules and aluminum screw caps. The company has its own manufacturing facility located on 12 acres in the town of Lovech. The company serves the private sector as the main customers are from the wine, pharmaceutical and food industry. This project involves activities leading to renewal and improvement of production equipment in order to increase energy efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise to achieve low production costs, diversifying the range and quality of products and reduce emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The applicant has ordered the energy audit in accordance with the requirement of the funding program and investment intentions. To increase energy efficiency and expand capacity, the company plans to implement in production new flexographic machine and implementation of an automated system for monitoring energy consumption, implementation and certification under EN / ISO 50001 in order to manage the energy performance, control and reduction of energy consumption in the company. The project will be realized through the implementation of the following eligible activities under this procedure: 1). Expansion of production activity in the company and increase its energy efficiency by purchasing new Fleksographic Printing Press - 1 pc. (Measure 1). 2). Reduce energy costs by introducing an automated system for monitoring energy consumption - 1 pc. (Measure 2). 3). Consultancy services for integration and certification of energy management system in accordance with standard EN ISO 50001 (Energy management system). 4). Performing an energy audit form. 5). Publicity and visualization of the project.
