Renovation of existing production equipment is imperative to make production processes more resource-efficient and more environmentally friendly. This will undoubtedly have an impact on improving energy efficiency and enhance enterprise competitiveness by achieving lower production costs and reduce dependence on supplies of primary production inputs. Important support to improve energy efficiency include the preparation and conduct of audits for energy efficiency "RODOPI TRADE MANAGEMENT" Ltd. and subsequent implementation of the audit report recommended measures are: Measure 1 - Reduction of electricity costs and expanding production activity in the company through the purchase of new machine tools and metalworking machinery - 23; Measure 2 - Reduce the cost of diesel fuel and expanding production activity in the company through the purchase of a new forklift - 1. The expected contribution of these supported activities is related to improving the energy efficiency of supported enterprises, which will reduce the production cost, greening them and increase their competitiveness. This in turn will have a positive effect not only on specific supported enterprises but also on the whole economy.
