Improvement of the energy efficiency of Harttcvet LLC

Harttcvet LLC was founded in 1995 in Shoumen. The company has a leading role in Northeastern Bulgaria in the production of corrugated paperboard packages. The product range includes: paperboard containers, slotted containers, die packaging and other corrugated paperboard packages. The main raw material for the production is corrugated paperboard, whose dimensions are established prior to delivery. All paperboard containers are diverted to the respective lines depending on the desired box design. The slotted types are sent to a Printer Slotter, where standard paperboard containers with lids are produced, cut, creased and flexo-stamped, if necessary. This semi-manufactured product is sent to a gluer machine, from which the final product comes out. The die types are sent to Die № 1 and Die № 2 , which produce the packaging, crease it and put the necessary stamp. Through the investment project the company has got the intention to expand and increase the production by implementing a new energy-efficient equipment, to improve the energy efficiency of the company, to diversify the product range and to ultimately improve its competitiveness by means of the following activities: - Delivery, installation and implementation of tearing-stacking machine with flexo-stamp section in order to complete a 2-colour printing line; - Delivery, installation and implementation of tearing-stacking machine with flexo-stamp section in order to complete a 3-colour printing line; - Delivery, installation and implementation of recuperative ventilation with utilisation of the residual heat from the machines; - Delivery, installation and implementation of cogeneration in order to reduce the electric energy consumption of the boiler; - Implementation of an automated energy management system (EMS); - Services concerning the implementation and certification of ISO 50001,Energy audit, Visualisation.
