Energy efficency in Fashion Mania Ltd

"Fashion Mania" Ltd. was founded in 2003 in Pleven. The main activity of the company is the production of knitwear with materials from developers. The company has established itself on the market with high quality manufactured products and the implementation within the contract awarded. "Fashion Mania" Ltd. is an enterprise established in their field as reliable, loyal and preferred partner. Strategy of the company is to maintain current market position and increase sales with a focus on foreign markets. Challenge facing the company is the reduction of energy consumption. This project proposal "Fashion Mania" Ltd. plans to improve the energy efficiency of production, increase production capacity and reduce scrapping production through the implementation of several specific measures: 1) Measure 1 "Purchasing LCKM 2x2 systems"; 2) Measure 2 "Purchasing LCKM multi Gage knitting" 3) Measure 3 "Purchasing 3 systems LCKM" 4) Measure 4 "Buying an e-rewinding machine." In the project "Energy Efficiency in" Fashion Mania "Ltd." will be achieved following direct results: - Purchased, delivered and commissioned 4 pcs. 2x2 system flat knitting machines; - Purchased, delivered and commissioned 11 pcs. 3 systems flat knitting machines with optional multi Gage weaving; - Purchased, delivered and commissioned 4 pcs. 3 systems standard flat knitting machines; - Purchased, delivered and put into operation an electronic machine rewound; - Introduced and certified energy management system in accordance with standard BS EN ISO 50001; - Increasing the production capacity of the enterprise with about 53 000 pcs./yr. - Annual energy savings from recommended package (AS): 164 096,40 kWh / yr .; - Planned energy savings for the enterprise as a result of project implementation (PES): 54,44%; - Factor energy savings (ESR) total: 66%; - Payback period of investment: 3.93 years .; - IRR: 21,98%.
