The implementation of the project "ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT" will lead directly to the improvement of the energy efficiency and will increase competitiveness and sustainable development of EKOINVEST ASETS JC through the implementation of specific measures for energy efficiency and the introduction and certification of energy management system in the company in accordance with international standard ISO 50001 systems energy management. In regards with this, the project includes the realization of the following activities: - Activities related to investment performance for implementation of the 4 provided energy efficiency measures included in the energy efficiency audits; - Activities related to the introduction and certification of energy management system in accordance with international standard ISO 50001 systems energy management; - Activities needed for project implementation, including conducting an energy audit, publicity and visualization, project audit. Activities will be implement through the purchase of specialized equipment and the provision of relevant consulting and professional services. The expected results due all implemented activities for improving the resource efficiency are to optimize and improve the production of RDF (solid fuel derived from waste) and to increase the efficiency of production costs.
