Optimal energy consumption in Ecoinvest Ltd.

Ecoinvest Ltd. was established in 2003 with the main economic activity - production of polymers - plastics recyclates and regranulates that generates 69% of revenue. The production is organized in two main areas - the production of polypropylene and polyethylene high pressure / HDPE / PP / and production of low density polyethylene / LDPE /. High EuP extrusion process behind the recycling of plastics. Energy costs represent 10% of production costs and an essential part of pricing. In order to reduce energy consumption on one side and increasing production capacity, on the other, in 2014, Ecoinvest launched a program for the modernization of existing production capacities, which at the end of 2016 will be optimized installations preparatory processes of sorting, laundering and the production of HDPE / PP. Since the production of LDPE, is still high and inefficient energy installation strategic goal of this project is to achieve optimal energy consumption by implementing the following activities: 1. Perform an energy audit; 2. Optimizing the energy consumption of the entire production through certification BS EN ISO 50001 energy management; 3. Modernization of production facilities to increase production capacity and reduce production costs through the introduction of high-tech and energy-efficient equipment for the production of LDPE. All activities under this project will reduce electricity consumption and fuel production unit, as well as harmful CO2 emissions. The implementation of the project activities will enhance the competitiveness and efficiency of production in Ecoinvest Ltd., and make possible the use of recycled raw material after commissioning of new fixed assets.
