The following project proposal is developed in response to the growing need for increasing the company productivity and to achieve a sustainable development on the furniture market. The project goal is to improve the overall energy efficiency of the production processes in Mebeli Filev Ltd. through purchase of new high-tech and energy-efficient machinery and equipment, implementation of an Automated System for Monitoring Energy Consumption (ASME) and a system of Energy Management (SEM) to ISO 50001. According to the application requirements, an energy audit report for the production activity of Mebeli Filev Ltd., is elaborated before submission of the following project proposal (Activity 7). The following activities under Investments - A Element are provided: measures for increasing the energy efficiency – supply and installation of: 1 pc. Drilling center (Activity 1), 1 pc. Automated edge banding machine (Activity 2) and 1 pc. installation with recuperation for utilization of waste heat energy (Activity 3); and under element B Services : implementation of ASME (Activity 4); implementation and certification of Energy Management System (EMS) to ISO 50001 (Activity 5); Activity 6 - Organization and project management, including activities for providing visualization and publicity. Expected results: - CO2 Emissions savings – 185,19 tons/year; - Realization of 226,116 MWh/year energy savings; - purchased new high-tech and energy-efficient machinery and equipment; Automated System for Monitoring Energy Consumption (ASME) launched; Certification of SEM (System of Energy Management ISO 50001); -visualization and publicity provided; - Achieved higher productivity company level; - reduced cost per unit of output. Duration of the project: 11 months The budget allocated for the realization of the project activities amounting to 512.475,00 BGN without VAT included. The investments are within the scope of de minimis regime.
