Improving the energy efficiency of ‘’INFRAENGINEERING – DB’’ Ltd.

‘’INFRAENGINEERING – DB’’ Ltd. has got a main economic activity code: 41.20 - Construction of residential and non-residential buildings. The company activities encompass the entire construction process – from all stages of design, construction, finishing works up to their realization on the market. The company carries out its activities on building sites across the country and has completed construction projects in many regions such as: Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Targovishte, Apriltsi etc. After carrying out a survey and construction works in Northwestern Bulgaria, ‘’INFRAENGINEERING – DB’’ Ltd. has rented a base located at 42 Bulgaria Avenue, Letnitsa, Lovech Province. The machines will be transported to and used in the aforementioned base when not in use on any other building sites across the country. Maintenance of the equipment will also be carried out in the base. In order to improve its energy efficiency and to expand its range of activities, the company is planning to invest in the following machines: double-axle three way dumper with a crane; backhoe loader; horizontal directional drilling machine with a technical tool. The company will reduce its energy consumption by utilisation of the residual compressor heat used for heating up the pipes of the new directional drilling machine, thus increasing its efficiency. The firm is planning to implement an automated energy consumption monitoring system and to make use of consulting services for implementation and certification of an energy management system in accordance with the BDS EN ISO 50001 standard. Through the project ‘’INFRAENGINEERING – DB’’ Ltd. is planning to purchase new high-capacity heavy equipment and thus, to expand its range of activities, to decrease the construction cost price and ultimately, to become more competitive. This is a prerequisite for stable development, which will improve the market position of the company in the construction industry.
