Implementation of energy efficient production equipment for sustainable growth and competitiveness of “Dzhodi-1” Ltd

The company "Dzhodi-1" Ltd. is a family company founded in 1993 in the city of Sliven. In the beginning the company produces men's and women's sports wear for the internal market - own production, and in 2000 headed to execute CMT production of menswear and womenswear. In 2009 it formed a team for design room, which is advantageous for taking orders, finished product. The main customers of "Dzhodi-1" Ltd. are leading European and global brands such as "C and A", "Guess", "Esprit" and "Peek and Cloppenburg". To remain competitive in the market and continue its successful development within element A company plans to invest in energy-efficient equipment through which to reduce production costs and achieve higher productivity. As a result of the implementation of new high-tech equipment the company will achieve a reduction in energy consumption, expanding capacity and reducing the cost of operation and maintenance. In element B Dzhodi-1 provides for the use of advisory services for implementation and certification of energy management system in accordance with the requirements of standard BS EN ISO 50001. This activity will contribute to improving the energy balance, increase efficiency and obtain a competitive advantage through lower energy consumption. The implementation of the activities envisaged in this project proposal will lead to the following results: -Increased energy efficiency and competitiveness. Planned energy savings are 28.59%; -More resource-efficient and more environmentally friendly production processes in Dzhodi-1; -Increased capacity and quality of products. The cumulative effect of the investment will ensure the sustainable development of the company "Dzhodi-1" Ltd.
