Increase energy efficiency and work processes in Bapa-Sport Ltd.

This current project of BAPA-SPORT Ltd. aims to increase the competitiveness of the company via improving energy efficiency and capacity, which will contribute to stable growth and decrease in energy intensity. For the purpose of the project an energy audit has been done in the production buildings of BAPA-SPORT Ltd. The energy consumption has been measured and audited for all machines owning by the company. As a result an audit document with 15 recommendations has been prepared and delivered to the company. In this project there are phases included, which aims to meet all the recommendations from the audit, decrease the energy consumption and improve the operations in BAPA-SPORT Ltd. After successful completion of the project, expected energy savings of 22.1% will be realized compared to operational year 2014 and 73.48% energy saving for the targeted machines and processes in the audit document - the 15 recommendations. These numbers equal 115 768.6 kWh/year. One of the project phases plans to implement and certify BAPA-SPORT Ltd. following EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management System). The main focus of this standard is increasing the energy efficiency. Visualization is included in the project plan as well aiming to contribute to the public awareness in regards to point 3 Energy and resource effectiveness part of the investment priority 3.1 Energy technologies and effectiveness.
