Energy efficiency for high competitiveness

The main activity of "ENKO PLASTICS 'Ltd. -. Plovdiv is the manufacture and sale of plastic packaging for multiple use (crates), and plastic household articles. The company also specializes in the recycling of plastic waste and production of plastic regranulate. The main raw materials, which the company processes are polypropylene and polyethylene granulate (PP and PE). The machinery, which the company has plays a major role in the production process. In injection moulding production there are 11 computer-controlled and fully automated injection molding machines purchased between 1999 and 2013. Through continuous upgrading of machinery the company managed to maintain its long-standing leadership position in the industry, both in terms of quality of the products and by the opportunity to offer flexible and dynamic solutions that fully satisfy customers’ needs. Since 2004 "ENKO PLASTICS 'Ltd. has been successfully developing its other activity as well - recycling of plastic waste and production of plastic regranulate. The company has a recycling line for PP and PE. The company mainly uses the plastic regranulate in its own injection moulding production. This project provides implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency in the main production process of "ENKO PLASTICS” Ltd. - Plovdiv - production and sale of plastic packaging multiple use (crates), and plastic household articles. The project provides for supply, installation and commissioning of new mainly energy efficient technological equipment relevant to the process under the following process steps: Production of plastic packaging. The investment is within the scope of Component 1 "Investments within the regime regional investment aid." It provides for supply and installation of three new high-performance injection molding machines that meet the requirements of all new developments in the production of plastic packaging.
