Improving the energy and resource efficiency of "Karnes" Ltd.

"Karnes" Ltd. - a company specialized in production of cylindrical gear wheels, shaft gear wheels, bevel gears, worm gears, worm shafts, body parts, whole gearboxes and drive units as well as spare parts and assemblies for the shipbuilding and ship repair industry, located in the town of Rousse. The company has machine park with basic equipment including CNC machines, gear cutting, grinding machines and universal obsolete equipment. The project proposal is related to the creation and development of competitive advantages of "Karnes" LTD based on improved energy and resource efficiency, through delivery of energy-efficient equipment and implementation and certification of ISO 50001 standard. The commissioning of the new equipment will increase the energy efficiency of the technological process of producing large machine components, by pooling metalworking processes on one machine and automating them. The project proposal includes activities related to the implementation of the recommended measures for energy efficiency in the energy audit and activities associated with the specified service performance: - Activity 1 "Acquisition of new production equipment (the activity will be carried out through the purchase of CNC turning and milling machine) - 1pc .; - Activity 2 "Consulting Services for implementation and certification of energy management system in accordance with the standard BDS EN ISO 50001"; - Activity 3 "Performing the EA by model (" energy efficiency audit ")"; - Activity 4 "Publicity and visualization". In the project proposal under Component A 'Investments' is chosen State aid procedure as regional investment aid related to the implementation of the initial investment in tangible assets related to the capacity expansion of an existing business object. All activities included in the project by component 'Services' are under "de minimis".
