Increase of the energy efficiency in the manufacturing process of HKS Ltd.

The project proposal of HKS Ltd. includes investments directly related to improving energy efficiency in the manufacturing process of the company. All planned measures are recommended in a conducted energy audit and will contribute to a long-term and sustainable growth in HKS LTD. The following investments are planned: • Acquisition of energy saving cutting machine; (Measure 1) • Acquisition of new energy efficient compressor; (Measure 2) • Replacement of the lighting in the manufacturing facility with new, more energy efficient; (Measure 3) • Installation of a system for heat recovery; (Measure 4) • Introduction of an automated system for monitoring energy consumption; (Measure 5) • Introduce a Energy management system in compliance to ISO 50001; The implementation of the project will directly contribute to achieving the expected results of the procedure, namely "enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises by improving their energy efficiency and capacity." The estimated project duration is 18 months.
