Increasing the energy efficiency of "Welga" Ltd.

Overall objective of the project: Achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness of "Welga" Ltd., through the implementation of measures for improvement of the energy efficiency. Specific objectives related to the furniture production of the enterprise: 1. Achieving energy savings, through the purchase of a machine for producing lathe furniture legs. 2. Optimization of energy consumption for heating by thermal insulation of roof and waste heat recovery 3. Ensuring effective monitoring and management of power consumption for improved energy efficiency through building ASME and implementation and certification of energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001. The planned activities, through which the goals will be obtained, are: 1. Delivery and commissioning of specialized CNC machined to produce lathe furniture legs - 1pc 2. ESM for buildings blocks - Thermal insulation of the roof. 3. Construction of an automated system for monitoring energy consumption (ASME). 4. Developing a system for waste heat recovery. 5. Consultancy services for implementation and certification of system for energy management in accordance with ISO 50001 The project is based on the recommendations of a conducted energy audit, drawn up for the purpose of the procedure As a result from the implementation of the activities "Welga" Ltd. will achieve the following key results: 1. Energy savings from the implementation of the project: 999 387,84 kWh/Yr 2. Savings of CO2 emission: 180,35 tons/yr. 3. Total energy and non-energy savings: 84 467.99 leva/yr 4. Ensuring effective monitoring and management of energy consumption. 5. Optimized energy consumption and heating costs. The improved energy efficiency of “Welga” Ltd. in the production of furniture will lead to reduced production costs and will guarantee sustainable growth and competitiveness of the enterprise.
