Increasing the energy efficiency in "Popchev stone design" LTD

"Popchev stone design" LTD was founded in 1993 in Varna by Jordan Popchev. The company started its business with a staff of 10 people and a small workshop with a limited assortment of granite, marble and Bulgarian limestone and quickly became one of the most prosperous companies in the industry. The company has facilities in the following locations: Varna, Durankulak, Slanchevo and Vratsa. Since its foundation its principle is maximum customer satisfaction. Over the years the company has established itself as a major importer of rock lining materials in various colors of marble, granite, limestone, onyx, mosaics and multi-stone products from Italy, Greece and China. It also offers its customers a whole range of materials that are produced in our country - Bulgarian marble, limestone, gneiss. It has its own warehouse and modern production facilities. Its employees are professional qualified staff with years of experience - technical managers, stone constructors and stonemasons. In order to increase its energy and resource efficiency, improving the production capacity and increasing its competitiveness, "Popchev stone design" LTD's management applies with the current project proposal to improve ints production equipment in Vraca, by purchasing and putting into operation a new marble processing line. In order to be achieved the project purpose, the following project activities are planned: 1. Increasing the company's energy efficiency, by purchasing a marble processing line (Measure 1 from Application B); 2. Implementation and certification to energy management system ISO 50001; 3. Carrying out an energy audit (Application B); 4. Project visualization and publicity.
