Implementation of energy saving measures to increase the competitiveness of TEH-MA Ltd.

The current project proposal is designed in order to satisfy the need of imrpoving the enegry efficency in TEH-MA Ltd. - a small sized enterprise based in Breznik that is specialized in knitewear production. The main project activities are as follows: 1. Construction works on the eneterprise`s manufacturing building. 2. 2Acquisition of new technological equipment for the workshop production of patterned fabrics. 3. Acquisition of new equipment for the production of compressed air. 4. Acquisition of new technological equipment workshop for knitted garments. 5. Acquisition of 2 pcs. recuperators air / air. 6. Acquisition of a System for automated energy monitoring. 7. Advisory services for introducing an ISO 50001: 2011. 8. Conducting an energy audit. 9. Publicity and visualization. The necessary energy saving measured will be implemented in the enterprise according to the conducted energy audit that will lead to improving both production and operating environment and will contribute for achieving sustainable growth and improving the competitiveness of the company. The expected outcomes of the successful realization of this project stem from main aim and objectives set, as well as the successful implementation of the set of activities that lead to sustainable development of knitwear production and increased enterprise`s competitiveness on the basis of achieved significant quantitative reducing of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The introduction of Energy management system according to ISO 50001: 2011 will contribute to achieving effective control of the consumption of energy resources and to maximize the long-term benefits from the implementation of energy saving measures. The project implementation will contribute to raising the environmental awareness of employees and the establishment of green practices in the enterprise.
