Increasing energy efficiency in Sistemno integrirane EOOD

Sistemno integrirane EOOD is specialized in the design and manufacturing of a wide range of hydraulic components and systems. In its activity, the company uses different types of machines, some of which do not meet the standards for energy and resource efficiency and do not correspond to the dynamics of the enterprise’s development and its production needs. The current project, based entirely on the results and recommendations made by the on-site energy audit, will provide the necessary preconditions for improving the energy and financial indexes and for creating conditions for expanding the capacity of the business. To achieve this the project includes the following activities: 1. Increasing the productivity in production unit for detail Saddle by introducing new energy efficient CNC lathes 2. Increasing the productivity in production unit for detail Body valve by introducing new energy efficient lathe-cutter CNC centers 3. Introduction of energy efficient transportation within the plant 4. Implementation and certification of energy management system according to ISO 50001: 2011. The replacement of the old equipment with new energy efficient equipment and a new forklift will contribute to energy savings, and hence financial savings, that could be invested in further modernizing and improving the working environment in the enterprise. The reduced carbon emissions and the opportunities for recycling the wastage will make the production of Sistemno integrirane EOOD more efficient and environmentally friendly. All the positive effects of the project as a whole will contribute to the company’s increased competitiveness on the internal and external markets in the long term.
