Increasing energy efficiency in " Vital" EOOD

“Vital” EOOD is a company established in 1998 specialized in the manufacturing of male and female clothing and is one of the leading pants producers in Bulgaria.The main goal of the present project is the company to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness using the energy efficiency measures–in line with the purpose of procedure BG16RFOP002-3.001“Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium Enterprises”.The project is based on the recommendations from an energy audit implemented as per a model including measures provided for enforcement with a confirmed effect on energy savings of minimum 5% and shall be realized by the implementation of a complex of interrelated and upgrading activities, that are allowable under Element A “Investments” and Element B“Services” of the procedure,these are: Activities under Element A “Investments”: -Implementation of measures for energy efficiency of the buildings by thermal insulation of the external walls and the roof of the main production building (implementing of Measure 1 of the energy audit) -Replacement of old rater scissors and band saw machines with a new automated system for spreading and cutting (implementing Measure 2) -Replacement of old ironing tables with a new configuration for ironing of female and male pants (implementing Measure 3) -Introducing an automated system for energy consumption monitoring (implementing Measure 4) -Delivery and assembly of a system for utilizing the residual heat power from cooling the compressors’ oil for heating domestic water (implementing Measure 5) Activities under Element B “Services”: -Consultation services for the introduction and certification of an energy management system in “Vital” EOOD,including in accordance with the provisions of BDS EN ISO 50001/EN ISO 50001 standard -Accomplishing an energy audit as per a model (“energy efficiency survey”) by a person entered in to the Public Registry under Art. 60, Art. 1 of the Energy Efficiency Act -Publicity and visualization
