Increasing of the competitiveness and production capacity and achievement of sustainable growth of Scalar Eco Ltd., through the implementation of energy efficiency measures.

Need: The low energy efficiency of Scalar Eco Ltd. is a factor limiting the productivity and competitiveness of the company. High energy intensity of production is due to outdated technologies, limited access to new best practices, systems and models for energy and efficient production. Objectives: Increasing competitiveness, production capacity and achieving sustainable growth Scalar Eco Ltd., through the implementation of energy efficiency measures. The overall objective of the project proposal is a renewal and improvement of technology and manufacturing processes to achieve: - Improving the energy efficiency of Scalar Eco Ltd; - Increasing the capacity of the company; - Achieving lower production costs per unit of output; - Enhancing the sustainable competitiveness of the company. Expected results: 1. Realized energy savings in the company: 1,522,938 kWh /y. 2. Emission savings CO2: 1 090,7 t/ yr. 3. Increase the capacity for production of pipes from recycled packing from 320 t / yr. up to 908 t / yr. 4. Energy savings unit of output: 2 701,76 kWh / t. Main activities: 1. Acquisition of machinery and equipment representing fixed assets necessary for the implementation of measures included in the energy audit; 2. Consultancy services for implementation and certification of energy management system in enterprises, in accordance with standard BS EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) / EN ISO 50001; 3. Energy audit prepared by form.
