Energy efficiency in Kedar-92 Ltd.

The project proposal of KEDAR 92 Ltd. includes investments directly related to improving energy efficiency in the manufacturing process of the company. All planned measures are recommended in a conducted energy audit and will contribute to a long-term and sustainable growth in KEDAR 92 LTD. The following investments are planned: • Acquisition of energy saving woodworking machines; (Measure 1) • Acquisition of energy efficient sewing, tailoring and upholstery machines; (Measure 2) • Replacement of the lighting in the manufacturing facility with new, more energy efficient; (Measure 3) • Installation of a system for recuperation of residual heat; (Measure 4) • Introduction of an automated system for monitoring energy consumption; (Measure 5) • Introduce a system of energy management in compliance to ISO 50001; The implementation of the project will directly contribute to achieving the expected results of the procedure, namely "enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises by improving their energy efficiency and capacity." The estimated project duration is 18 months.
