Energy efficency

The aim of the project proposal is by using a focused support Bulgarian SME Sokolov Ltd. to implement energy efficiency measures in order to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness. This project aims to make a contribution to the overall objective of the procedure. There are to be implemented the following activities: A2-7: Acquisition of production equipment A8: Use of services for implementation and certification of energy management systems in the enterprise according to ISO 50001, A9: Visualization and publicity. At the time the application was made Activity 1 using consulting service to be performed energy audit and preparation of an energy report. The total project cost is 1 785 552.68 BGN. Place of performance is BG, North-Central region, Veliko Tarnovo Veliko Tarnovo, district Veliko Tarnovo. The expected results of the project will be the enhanced competitiveness of the company by improving its energy efficiency and capacity, which, in turn, lead to more sustainable growth and a reduction in energy intensity at both the Company and overall BG economy. The project is implemented in a sector characterized by high energy intensity - 23.61 manufacture of concrete products for construction. Specific additional benefits that the project will achieve are: • strengthening the market position of the local market • increase of sales revenue, given the increase of production capacity • reduce the cost and the unit cost of production, not as a whole • environmental benifits • implementation of the EU horizontal policies - equality and non-discrimination and sustainable development.
