Improving the energy efficiency of Debulco OOD.

This project proposal is based entirely on the recommendations of an energy audit performed in "Debulco" OOD and prepared for the procedure’s purposes. The project aims at increasing energy efficiency and modernization of production equipment of the enterprise, leading to extension of the capacity of an existing establishment in Musachevo and strengthening the competitiveness of "Debulco" OOD. The project is targeted at implementation of one of the main objectives in the long-term development strategy of the enterprise, aimed at increasing the quantity and quality of its production through modernization of equipment used for mechanical treatment and reduction of the input energy. The need for implementation of the project was prompted by enterprise’s desire to improve the energy efficiency and to automate the production process to ensure its sustainability in the future. Implementation of the project will increase the capacity of existing establishment in Musachevo to produce tube details. The project provides activities for acquisition and putting into operation of fixed assets - new Laser Tube Cutting Machine part of the measures included in the Report of the energy audit. The new equipment will increase the amount of total products manufactured annually - tubular products from an average of 192 700 kg / yr. to 460 000 kg / yr.at the same time by realizing of energy savings. As a result of the project the following effects for the enterprise are expected: - Acquisition and putting into operation of new fixed assets - Laser Tube Cutting Machine; -Increased enterprise capacity for production of tube details; - Raised energy efficiency with the implementation of energy savings; -Improved enterprise competitiveness; -Improved management of energy resources through implementation of EN ISO 50001; - Higher level of recycling of discarded products.
