Support for increasing energy efficiency in ELECS GROUP – HOLDING Ltd

The current project proposal is entirely related to identified by ELECS GROUP–HOLDING Ltd. needs and constraints: high annual cost of electrical energy and unit production, physically and morally obsolete equipment for flexo printing and lack of systems and management models of energy efficiency. In order to reduce its energy intensity and increase its production capacity the company outsources an executant registered in the register under Art. 60, para.1 of the EEA, in order to conduct an energy audit at the level of industrial system and to perform a report recommending appropriate energy saving measures. The Energy Report provides purchasing and commissioning of a new high-tech flexo printing machine and carrying out construction works related to and necessary for the implementation of the asset, which: will significantly increase the hours of efficient work at the expense of the hours for tuning equipment; the period for the development of the clients' orders will be reduced by 20%; the production capacity will grow with 60%; will be achieved energy savings of 240 449 kWh annually and for unit production - 60,47 kWh/ha; the technological waste will be reduced; the candidate will acquire technological ability to work with recycled raw materials. In addition to the activities based on recommendations from the conducted energy audit, the project proposal provides activities and consultancy services for implementation and certification of energy management system according to the requirements of ISO 50001, publicity and visualization of the project. The realization of the project idea will increase the competitiveness of ELECS GROUP – HOLDING, by improving energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and performance.
